Zhang Yishan plays seven different personalities in upcoming romantic comedy

Seven Versions of Myself is the official remake of Korean drama Kill Me, Heal Me and stars Zhang Yishan as a man with seven personalities. Cai Wenjing (Above the Clouds) plays a first year psychiatry resident and his love interest. Zhang Xiaoqian (Ode to Joy) plays her twin brother, and Gao Taiyu (Xuanyuan Sword: Clouds of Han) rounds out the main quartet as the hero’s cousin and main rival.

The 34 episode drama premieres on December 13th, and will release two episodes every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 10pm (Tencent).

Chong Er’s Preach starts filming

Despite the generic-looking costumes and funny-sounding name, this story actually does have some historical relevance

Chong Er’s Preach 重耳传 has started filming.  Starring Wang LonghuaZhang HanyunHan ChaeyoungPurba Rgyal, and Zhang Yishan, I still wish for a drama that would better emulate the dress code for the era based on what we know already, although I understand it is hard since the farther you go back, the less evidence there is to work with.

Zhang Yishan to lead Chinese remake of Kill Me, Heal Me

I haven’t seen the original, though I might try this one just to witness more of Zhang Yishan’s acting prowess.

The remake of the popular Korean drama Kill Me, Heal Me is titled Seven Versions of Myself 柒个我, and has confirmed rising actors Zhang Yishan (Yu Zui) and Cai Wenjing (So Young) as the leads.
