All is Well 都挺好 is produced by Daylight Entertainment, and based on Ah Nai’s (River of Time, Ode to Joy) novel of the same name. Yao Chen will be making her small screen come back after 2014’s Divorce Lawyers, and this time she’ll be playing the estranged daughter of veteran actor Ni Dahong(Mr. Right).
Can you imagine how photogenic Jing Boran and Ni Ni’s babies would be.
The guests at this year’s Harper’s Bazaar Charity Gala is a who’s who of Chinese actors this year. Here are some of the stars on the red carpet, including Zhang Ziyi, Carina Lau, Fan Bingbing, Li Bingbing, Yang Mi, Lu Han, Angelababy, Yao Chen, Chris Li Yuchun, Ni Ni, Jing Boran, Zhang Ruoyun, Tang Yixin, Zhang Lanxin, Jiang Xin, Amber Kuo, Bea Hayden, Wang Ziwen, Li Xiaolu, Jia Nailiang, Ying’er, Aarif Lee, Zhao Liying, Qiao Xin, Zhang Yunlong, Zhang Binbin, Li Yundi, Chen Xuedong, Ruby Lin, Wallace Huo, Ady An Yixuan, Shawn Dou Xiao, etc. There were a lot more stars (like Fan Bingbing’s boyfriend Li Chen, Angelababy’s husband Huang Xiaoming), but their outfits were boring.
Clothes identification from : Starstylefashion@Weibo , clothes from the Bazaar Weibo or the star’s own Weibo’s (this is fair because both are PS’ed anyways) .
Two years ago, Yao Chen opened off the New Year for us in New Zealand (with a January 2013 cover for Elle). Her January 2015 cover for Harper’s Bazaar is a turnaround – no more pink and blue sky; here, it’s an elegant black and white, with dashes of crimson. Look below the cut for more pictures. Cfensi is currently, gradually working on uploading posts from the dramaaddicts site to our current WordPress platform (you can find these recovered posts by looking at cfensistaff posts here). Most will be filed under their original publish date, but some photo shoots are pretty enough to warrant a “re-run.”
Side note: I remember thinking that this photoshoot was gorgeous the first time I posted it, and love that I have a chance to post it again!
JUNE 19, 2012 | POSTED IN MAINLAND CHINA,PHOTOSHOOT, TAGGED YAO CHEN In addition to participating in a breezy summer shoot for Cosmopolitan, Weibo queen Yao Chen recently flew to Hong Kong to participate in a memorial for refugees and other activities related to World Refugee day. Yao Chen being famous for her charity work and June 20 being World Refugee day, this should be no surprise. There, she attended the opening of an exhibition of pictures of the UN Refugee Agency’s “The African Dream of Home” and renewed her contract as a spokesperson for the UN Refugee Agency. (Source) Look under the cut to see the rest of Yao Chen’s shoot for Cosmopolitan. Her new movie with Mark Zhao and Gao Yuanyuan, “Caught in the Web”, is coming out on July 6. Continue reading →
For all my dislike of director Lu Chuan, this trailer looks epic. The Ghouls: Tower of Ghosts 鬼吹灯之九层妖塔 stars Mark Zhao, Yao Chen, Tang Yan, Rhydian Vaugh, and Li Chen. It’s one of the best trailers I’ve seen for a Chinese action-thriller, and I think Lu Chuan might actually pull it off to make it a new benchmark for such films in China.
Which one are you looking forward to more? This one, or director Wu’ershan’s The Ghouls:Code of the Dragon鬼吹灯之寻龙诀 with Chen Kun, Huang Bo, Shu Qi, and Angelababy?
Yao Chen is cool in her new photoshoot for Elle – in more than one sense of the word (seriously, does she not have the greatest style?) Wish we could see that yellow dress out of the water. Look for more pictures under the cut. Continue reading →
I adore Amber Kuo‘s crown in this photoshoot for Bazaar Jewelry, though I won’t be able to afford it anytime soon (she and Tiny Times I & II costar Rhydian Vaughan were recently in One Road Surprise together, but don’t go in expecting to see too many scenes of them). Yao Chen‘s jewelry doesn’t look to be quite as expensive, but she still strikes an intirmidating image, and He Sui is just as eye-catching. Zhao Liying, though, takes the cake as being the cutest of the bunch, even decked out in grayscale. Look below the cut for more pictures! Continue reading →
Cindy, Tiantian, Tang Wei, Yao Chen join “The Monster Hunt”as guest stars. The planned trilogy by Shrek the Third director Ramen Hui stars Bai Baihe, Jing Boran, Wallace Chung, Sandra Ng, Eric Tseng, Jiang Wu, and Yan Ni.
It looks like Yao Chen‘s gone bokeh, but she’s actually just covered her head with sequins. Liu Yuxin will be appearing in Cage of Love (with Zheng Shuang and Hawick Lau), but if you haven’t seen Princess Mingyu in a while, you can look below the cut for her photoshoot for Trendshealth. Meanwhile, Shu Qi shows off backless dresses, while Bai Baihe goes for a few cloaks. Look below the cut for more pictures. Continue reading →
