Dilraba, Li Qin, Ni Ni are beautiful under the red lights of these photos
I’m picturing a film of three neighbors living in an abandoned motel turned rundown apartment in the red lights district. Li Qin is a small town college graduate at her first job, trying not to lose herself among the lights of the big city; Dilraba is an aspiring actress who has run away from her affluent home to pursue her dreams, only to be turned down again and again; Ni Ni is a singer/dancer at a nightclub who has long given up on any dreams she might’ve had.
What a fangirl would give to be that tree between Wu Lei and Baron Chen
The cast of Battle Through the Heavens / Fights Break Sphere 斗破苍穹, including Wu Lei, Baron Chen, Li Qin, Su Qing, Carmen Lee, and X-Nine’s Wu Jiacheng, Gu Jiacheng, and Peng Chuyue, posed for a more modern (aka Chen Man-like) promo shoot for the series.
The series is currently available for streaming on Youtube here.
Thankful for the Remaining Years (Qing Yu Nian Season 1) has released a trailer after wrapping up filming for the first season, and stars Zhang Ruoyun as a young lad who is groomed into a righteous politician by Chen Pingping (Wu Gang).
Li Qin did a prettier if less creative botanical photoshoot in the same garden as Yang Caiyu. Meanwhile, birthday girl Dilraba not only went to a garden, but also dressed in florals. Ni Ni and Li Yuchun are decked out in Gucci in a garden in France. Banana Culture trainees and Tang Yan go on picnic, Finally, while not in a garden, Wang Junkai celebrates the last of spring with a kite on a hill.
The Chinese title她杀 is She Killed, a wordplay on murder 他杀 , killed by a third-person , but with a female instead of a male pronoun)
355 isn’t the only film where Fan Bingbing is ready to kill. The actress finished up filming her crime thriller The Perfect Blue她杀 this past week. The film stars Fan Bingbing, Li Qin, Xin Zhilei, and Wang Ziwen as four women, at least three of whom are suspected of a crime committed ten years ago. Huang Xuan stars once more as the only male character in major film. The film is a loose sequel to director Cao Baoping’s acclaimed (and highly recommended by me) The Dead End.
Who did it? All of them? None of them? Or one of them?
Thankful for the Remaining Years / Qing Yu Nian Season 1, also known as Joy of Life, has released stills of the leading cast members. Fan Xian’s (Zhang Ruoyun) growth arc will stretch across the entire show, as he learns valuable skills from Chen Pingping (Wu Gang), head of the kingdom’s investigative agency.
Fan Xian gets embroiled in murder mysteries and strange cases in the pugilist world (jianghu), and ultimately makes his way into the political scene, where he decides to challenge the Emperor (Chen Daoming) and the feudal system he represents.
Li Qin’s fan-shaped earrings with a hand makes me want to get my ears pierced
Five up-and-rising actresses pose for a set of photoshoots with traditional Chinese embroidery for a new take on the traditional Chinese painting style of Beauty Portraits. The pieces borrowed from the Taizhou Museum of Embroidery isn’t featured that much, but at least the actresses are beautiful.
They are: Li Qin (Princess Agents) , Yang Caiyu (Youth), Zhong Chuxi ( Youth), Xin Zhilei (Brotherhood of Blades II), and Li Meng (A Better Tomorrow 2018).
Which photos are the best?
Zhong Chuxi painting the Cfensi banner with that sash.
Yes! Chen Daoming is back in drama land, and as a main character no less. In Thankful for the Remaining Years / Qing Yu Nian Season 1, he’ll be playing the tyrannical Emperor of the fictional country of Qing (he may be known as Liu Yu in the drama), a martial arts grand master and biological father of our protagonist Fan Xian (Zhang Ruoyun).
