Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy posters

Must… have… an actual… date… XD

Tribes and Empires:  Storm of Prophecy 九州·海上牧云记 has released more stills.  Starring Huang Xuan, Shawn Dou, Zhou Yiwei and Wang Qianyuan, I am going to be pretty disappointed if this does not get a release date in the near future.

Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy new character

Don’t think we’ve see much of this costume yet…

Tribes and Empires:  Storm of Prophecy 九州·海上牧云记 has released more unseen images of Li Kaixin as the teenage counterpart to Xu Lu’s Su Yuning.  Starring Huang Xuan, Shawn Dou, Zhou Yiwei and Wang Qianyuan, I guess this shows how this dramas has kept enough material coming out to keep us interested but not enough that we feel like we’ve already seen everything.  Some productions should start taking notes.

Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy releases more

It’s always a good day when they come out with stills for this one.

Tribes and Empires:  Storm of Prophecy 九州·海上牧云记 has released more images and videos about production.  Starring Huang Xuan, Shawn Dou, Zhou Yiwei , and Wang Qianyuan, it’s nice they paid that much attention to etiquette and other details in order to bring about the feel of the drama despite it being largely set in a fantasy world.

Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy leaks stills

… sigh… we need more costuming and productions like this…

Tribes and Empires:  Storm of Prophecy 九州·海上牧云记 has released more images.  Starring Huang Xuan, Shawn Dou, Zhou Yiwei , and Wang Qianyuan, gosh I’m impatient for this to come out.  At least there’s a video about the making of this drama out already.

Off in the grasslands of Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy

I’m just glad that the more “ethnic” clothing isn’t insultingly dumb-looking…

Tribes and Empires:  Storm of Prophecy 九州·海上牧云记 has released more stills.  Starring  Huang Xuan, Shawn Dou, Zhou Yiwei , and Wang Qianyuan, I am not a big fan of the color schemes and have some grips with the lack of other colors but it’s a nice different approach.

Storm of Prophecy finishes filming

They released a video to celebrate the finishing of filming

Tribes and Empires:  Storm of Prophecy 九州·海上牧云记 has released stills with more color and a video to celebrate finishing filming.  Starring  Huang Xuan, Shawn Dou, Zhou Yiwei, Wan Qian, Xu Lu, Zhang Xiaochen, Li Zifeng, Kan Qingzi, Sun JIan, Jiang Qinqin, and Wang Qianyuan, the different backdrops are nice since sometimes, you get tired of seeing the same ones over and over again in different dramas…

Sparrow releases heart-wrecking MV

Picture13

Those trees and flowers in the background must be really resilient to the cold.

I can’t tell if Sparrow  is actually epic or if it’s just the BGM (last heard breaking my heart here). Still do not see a sliver of life in Li Yifeng’s eyes (he’s also the only one being dubbed),  but everyone else is beautiful even while crying, and I’m impressed by a couple of the shots.  Also, I can’t wait for  Kan Qingzi to get lead roles.

Li Yifeng, Zhou Dongyu star in espionage series

Even built-in English subs can’t make-up for a dubbed Zhang Luyi.

Set in the same time and place as last year’s hit The Disguiser, espionage series Sparrow 麻雀 released its first trailer today. This is both Li Yifeng and Zhou Dongyu’s first foray into the genre, and I have to say that Zhou Dongyu impresses a lot more than her co-star. Despite her babyface, she’s able to smile like an angel but cry with the pains of experience.  And of course, veterans Wang Jinsong,  Zhang Luyi and Li Xiaoran always bring their A-game.  The series co-stars Zhang Ruoyun, Kan Qingzi, and Yin Zheng.

Huang Jingyu, Kan Qingzi join Demon Girl

Demon Girl 半妖倾城 has released more character posters. The new set features Addiction star Huang Jingyu along with Kan Qingzi, Nan Sheng, Song Weilong, etc.  For better or for worse, I guess Yu Zheng has found solace in fashion which I guess could be a win considering how well things seem to be turning out.
