Sinology Sunday: January 10, 2016

This week, we take a break from all the historical madness and look at some underwater hanfu.  From the weibo of Danshi Xiangsi 但使相思, if I absolutely had to classify the clothes despite not being able to see absolutely clearly the top five seem to be from the Tang dynasty and the rest seem to be from the Song dynasty.  I have to admit they do look like paintings of Chinese goddesses/immortals/apsaras/etc.

More pictures below the cut.

The following are some links that may help you get some background information.  Hanfu groups seem to work together so I apologize ahead of time in case there are any repeats.  Please let us know in the comment section if there are any other sites you may be able to recommend for more pictures.
