Jackie Chan giving his bodyplate that he wore in the Myth to Hu Ge
Even the confidant Hu Ge had his knees shaking in front of Jackie Chan.
“As a younger artist, I’m far from Jackie Chan. Earlier, when I saw Jackie Chan, I was so nervous that my knees were shaking. But I will try my hardest to follow his lead,” Hu Ge said today.
The executive producer of the drama version of “The Myth,” Jackie Chan just announced his pick of the male lead -Hu Ge.
Jackie said about Hu Ge,” After barely surviving through the car accident, he still dares to face many dangerous scenes. His experience is a myth in itself.”
Other than the idea of traveling through time, the TV series is suppose to be completely different from the original movie. The female lead is suppose to be announced after the Chinese New Year, but director Tang Jili said that they might also do an internet search since many actresses now look too modern.

The TV version of The Myth in based on the original Jackie Chan movie, and is produced by Jackie Chan.
